LOLA Sonoma Farms is a small, family-run farm with a focus on sustainably grown fruits and vegetables and pastured, humanely raised, free-range dairy goats and KuneKune pigs. We are committed to operating a socially responsible business that honors nature and every living thing’s ability to achieve its full potential. As part of that commitment, we
Grow a variety of nutrient-dense, delicious summer and winter produce
Raise pastured, hormone-free heritage breed hogs, dairy goats and eggs (coming soon!) with modest supplementation of organic/non-GMO feed from Modesto Milling
Employ organic, regenerative food and farming systems and practices, such as:
No-till, carbon farming to extract excess carbon from the atmosphere that causes global warming and restore it to the soil to aid in the growth of plants
Never use synthetic fertilizers, chemical pesticides or GMO seeds
Composting, mulching, cover cropping
Soil enrichment to revive beneficial microbial populations in the soil
Beneficial plants as natural pest predators/perimeter trap cropping
Rainwater harvesting and retention ponds, grey water reuse, drip irrigation to preserve water
Livestock rotation to improve soil health
Alternative energy sources from wind and solar
Provide new and existing farmers with access to land, which is a major challenge that farmers face given the cost of real estate
